About this property

Reepham 4 miles. Hidden within the depths of Norfolk's peaceful rural countryside is Haveringland Hall Park, the setting for this lovely detached lodge. This comfortable lodge sits at the edge of the park, in the arboretum area which forms part of this attractive 150-acre holiday park, with its beautiful woodlands and two fishing lakes. The grounds are ideal for enjoying wonderful leisurely walks and watching the local wildlife in action. This delightful lodge offers bright spacious modern accommodation, with two bedrooms and an open plan living area with French doors. These open onto the decked veranda, with seating and views across a well-maintained grassed area with a beautiful old cedar tree and fir trees. Alternatively, retire to the rear secluded garden overlooking the woodlands and relax with a refreshing drink. The small attractive conservation market town of Reepham is nearby, offering shops, eateries, a Wednesday market and regular antique fairs. From the former railway station, walkers, cyclists, and horse riders can enjoy the 21-mile Marriott's Way rural trail. Within easy driving distance of this lodge you can explore the delights of Norfolk's varied coastline, visit the nature reserves, one of its many stately homes, or the renowned Norfolk Broads. This is an ideal holiday lodge from which to enjoy this lovely part of Norfolk.

Situated amidst stunning countryside between the valleys of Bure and Wensum, the attractive and historic market town of Reepham is one of the most beautiful in East Anglia. With an attractive, 18th Century market building and beautiful red-brick Georgian constructions, this classic trading post continues to host a weekly market whilst the wide selection of shops sell local produce and hand-made furniture. The town is also packed with various inns, restaurants and tea shops. The twenty mile footpath 'The Marriott's Way' can be found by Reepham's former railway station, which now serves as a museum and tea shop. This peaceful route through fields and woodland offers walkers and cyclists the chance to see some of the area's beautiful scenery off the beaten track. Close by, the cathedral city of Norwich offers great shopping, historic town walls and excellent transport links to London.
