I think an update in what is in the information book would be helpful, and having appliance instructions would help, had to wing it. They have a washing machine, and as it was so hot when we went, very useful to wash some short trousers, but we had to buy a box of washing powder. The microwave was damaged but replaced as soon as they knew about it. I found the chopping boards much too small, and bought a nice wooden one to use. Cars drive past the front of the bungalow daily, but it wasn't too bad, not as quiet as I'd have liked though, and quieter later in the evenings. Internally it was a very good size, although bathroom was quite small, maybe they'd have been better making it a wet room. The bed is very low, but it was comfortable. It is in a very good location off the main road, very close to Market Rasen, we did walk into the town one evening. Tesco, and their petrol station, is easy to get to, and open until late, think it was 10pm. All in all we had a nice break there

The cottage was clean and comfortable and the setting was beautiful. Our only slight concern was one day we left a message on the owners phone regarding the central heating being on through the night and no one got back to us.

The huge TV is very nice. WiFi works well in the lounge and kitchen but the signal isn’t strong enough to maintain the connection in the bedroom. The bed, although low, was comfortable and we slept well. The location is handy for Stagecoach Bus Service 53 to Lincoln and it’s a short walk (on a pavement) into town for pubs, cafés, the leisure centre, railway station and supermarkets (Co-op and Tesco). We had a nice Sunday lunch at Jossals where the service was efficient and friendly. The cottage is on a very quiet lane (more of a rough track really) on which one can walk some distance without traffic and reach a field path leading to the south of town. Although we had very cold weather, it was dry and consistently sunny so we managed to do some good walks, leaflets for which are available in the cottage. Fortunately the ground was frozen as otherwise some of the fields we crossed would have been very boggy. So we had a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay. The scenery isn’t the most dramatic but the flatness and quietness make for pleasant walking.
