"Debbie gave us a warm welcome when we arrived (we had to call as got a bit lost finding the lodge) & as soon as we enterered the lodge and saw the view of the lake we automatically felt relaxed. We stayed a week and loved every minute - didn’t want to leave. We went with our 16 month old son and a travel cot was set up in his own room plus a high chair was provided which was perfect. We had everything we needed in the kitchen & living room was lovely. We were lucky to get good weather so did enjoy the jacuzzi a couple of times while our little one slept and enjoyed a few evenings enjoying a glass of wine sitting on the decking with the amazing view of the lake. Debbie & Russ couldn’t be more hospitable - Russ popped over during our stay to check all was going well. We had ducks and swans visit on a daily basis which our little boy loved and seeing the planes, especially the Lancanster bomber, fly over was amazing. We were around a 10 min walk to the entertainment centre where they have a bar, kids evening entertainment (toddler one at 5.45pm for an hour) and then adults too including bingo, quiz nights and more. You can also do bike rides (we were even able to get a toddler carrier so we could ride with our son), pedlo’s, swimming and much more. FYI you do have to pay for an entertainment pass though and price differs based on where you’re staying. For the lodge it works out around £46 for 4 days or £96 for 7 days. This is because the lodge is seen as an 8 berth so it does mean you’d get 8 passes. You can’t get a drink at the bar without one. There is a lovely pub close by though and outside of the park we visited the castle which was a great visit too. We noticed that there were other National Trust places near by as well. We had a great holiday though and the lodge certainly played a big part in making that happen. We defintiely want to visit again."

"The accommodation is very modern and well presented and in a lovely location with uninterrupted views of the lake where you can watch the jets fly by and people water skying or the ducks and swanns swimming by. The hot tub was also a lovely addition. My only disappointment was that there were no sun loungers to relax on in the Sun. Beds are a little hard as mentioned by a previous visitor but are bearable. Really pleased there were two double beds as this is rare in holiday lodges or caravans. Would definitely go again."

"Lovely lodge and really enjoyed the hot tub looking out onto the lake"
    - Mr Mcclean, March 2017
"Amazing time here. The lodge on the lake was perfect! Great location! Debbie and russ was happy to help whenever needed. Will definitely be booking again. Such a nice place to stay!!"
    - Miss Ward, March 2017
"The cabin was beautiful and the owners were so lovely and friendly. The setting and the surrounding area were also lovely. Would highly recommend this cabin for couples and families alike. Nothing negative to say at all."
    - Miss Barrett, May 2017
"Really beautiful and peaceful lodge set in amazing grounds. It was like a home away from home the only downfall was the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky however had a wonderful time and am looking at re booking in August."
    - Mrs Bradley, June 2017
"The lodge is in a gorgeous location - quiet and peaceful with a wonderful view over the lake. The lodge had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and comfortable and you can't really ask for more than that. Contact with the owner could not have been more pleasant. We have holidayed at Tattershall Lakes on many occasions and will continue to do so for years to come, but this lodge made our stay just about perfect. Highly recommended by the whole family. So good, in fact, we booked immediately for the following year."
    - Mr Wilson, June 2017
"Great location and lodge cant fault it, simply superb."
    - Miss Lovelock, July 2017
"Highly recommend the Lakeside lodge. Excellent value for money. The owners were really helpful and the lodge is very clean and comfortable. We were really impressed. This is a perfect getaway for a young family as there are lots of activities and local attractions (and Skegness is only a 40 minute drive away). The jets and spitfires etc. flying over everyday made the visit extra special. We came home feeling relaxed and refreshed. 5 star Mr and Mrs Haynes! Thank you for having us :)"
    - Miss Staples, November 2018
"! The lodge is decorated lovely and furnished to a very high standard. There have been a few changes and they have made the world of difference... new beds, new crockery, and a welcome gift. The hot tub was bubbling away on our arrival, and the lodge was lovely and warm. We can not wait to return"

"It is located in a quiet part of the park, is very clean and has all the equipment you need to enjoy your stay, views of the lake are stunning and a great base to explore Lincolnshire. The owners are lovely and "Mr Hot Tub Russ" made us welcome right from the off Already missing the place and will definitely be booking again. Mandy and Paul from Nottingham"

"Best location on the resort and just 5 min stroll to site amenities. Lodge was beautifully clean and we were given a welcome gift as being newlyweds. 100% perfect and didn't want to come home. Communication from owners fabulous."
    - Mrs Owen, September 2017
"The owner's directions were easy to follow and the property was pristine when we arrived. It was lovely to find a kitchen with such a high standard of cooking utensils and crockery, especially as we all like to cook. The location on the edge of a lake is lovely. We all loved the daily views of aircraft flying overhead, and enjoyed using the hot tub on the patio. There are many places of interest nearby to visit and the week went by so quickly."
    - Miss Staples, October 2017
"Communication with the owners was very easy as were the directions to the property. Decor, fixtures and linen was faultless. The only thing that put us off was that we found the beds rather uncomfortable and squeaky, our party consisted of two couples, and our friends also found this in their room. Other than that it was lovely."
    - Miss Mendez, October 2017
"Clean and tidy, hot tub heated and ready, it also has everything you need so no need to worry beautiful scenery infront of the lake, planes are wonderful to watch although loud but we didnt mind. The day we got there Russ popped over to introduce himself and offer his help if needed. We are sure to revisit no doubt and reccomend to family and friends. Thank you"
    - Mrs Locke, March 2018
"Very clean and comfortable. The lake view was beautiful and the hot tub was amazing. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We played for a leisure pass to use on site and were disappointed that we were unable to use the pool as apparently it was fully booked due to the holidays. I feel that the leisure pass was a waste of money but the lodge itself was great and we would definitely like to return."

"Russ was very welcoming when we arrived. The lodge was immaculate and the views of the lake outstanding. Hot tub lovely. As recommended by Debbie we went to Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa, what a hidden gem. Loved our very own airshow courtesy of the eurofighters training from RAF Coningsby, which we also visited. Thank you for a lovely holiday."
