However, we would agree with previous reviews that the house could do with updating in some areas. The shower floor in the downstairs bathroom needs attention, the pull out drawer in the kitchen needs cleaning at the back. The house wasn't super warm; this could be helped by fixing a huge hole in one of the "conservatory doors". It would have been helpful for the owners to have left more than 6 plates and other cutlery. As it meant that it all had to be washed up after every meal. Otherwise you wouldn't have enough for next time. Additionally, the knives in the knife block could do with being updated. We liked the location and the fact that we were in a nice quiet spot. The children loved exploring the back garden. We thought it was wonderful that so many games had been left and that there was so much choice on the television. The house was spacious, welcoming, airy and tidy and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. We really enjoyed our time there.

We loved the beautiful stylish interior and the stream and woods were a wonderful added bonus in the garden. Fantastic for our dog. The bedrooms were really lovely. Ways to improve it even further would be to provide more in the kitchen, e.g. more place settings to prevent putting the dishwasher on too often. A tray, teapot and serving bowls would be useful. Some instructions would also be useful as well as more recycling facilities, as none at all were provided and all rubbish was instructed to be placed in the wheelie bin which was already nearly full on arrival. The play house is in need of a proper clean and is unusable in its current state.
