Stayed in a Morland lodge no.72, this is our third visit to the park and first stay in this lodge. Wow! Amazing lodge and the park more fantastic than our last visit. Lodge comfortable, clean, modern and everything you need for your stay. Tonnes of space and plenty big enough. I would advise to take tea, coffee, washing up liquid as none provided but we always take our own anyway so not a problem. Plenty fresh towels, glasses/cutlery, plates, tea towels. The hot tub in a private spot on the decking and was ready for us to use. Backed onto trees so very quiet apart from the owls on an evening lovely to listen to. Plenty of nice walks on site, cafe on site also, Hindelinis, where the food is amazing and a good idea if you want a break from cooking. The White Bull in Gisburn which is just a 10 minute walk on the private path, is definitely a must. Food lovely and a great spot for a drink. Don't need to drive anywhere if you don't want to for a day out. All on the doorstep. The resident peacocks are a joy to watch and listen to especially with their young ones. The estate stag was seen most days wandering round and even spotted the kingfisher down by the river. The park is immaculate which is credit to the staff who work there, clearly doing a great job looking after the place and their guests. Already booked to go back next February and would look at returning every year, this could be our regular lodge holiday 

The lodge is lovely and spacious. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into it. The design is very modern and has everything you need. We often stay in lodges and this is the nicest one yet. I don’t like to do this but if I was to be slightly critical I’d say. There were no sockets in the master bedroom and the mattress in the double room was very poor (definitely needs changing) no.74, this is just constructive criticism. I suppose if you don’t mention it they would never know. This won’t put us off and will definitely come back as it’s our favourite place ❤️
