Set on the gable end of the original farmhouse, this cosy cottage features a welcoming open-plan living room with a stunning woodburner, a delightful picture window and exposed stonework adding a real sense of charm. Upstairs, the double bedroom offers a refreshing en-suite shower room, pretty countryside views and superb romantic styling. Outside, there is a lovely sitting area and shared use of the extended gardens, including a beautiful brook providing delightful background noise. This is a perfect location for relaxing after a hard day out on the local fells. The area surrounding your cottage is wonderful for walking and cycling, with lovely footpaths from the doorstep. Gisburn's mountain bike trails are just 15 minutes away, while a number of first-class dining inns can be found within a few miles. Your Bowland cottage lies within the Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, whilst the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is within easy reach. A delightful holiday home, perfect for a romantic break whatever the time of year.
The Yorkshire Dales village of Bolton-by-Bowland is in the Ribble Valley and has a shop, two pubs serving food and a tea room. The Ribble Valley is an aonb, while nearby Clitheroe offers a whole host of amenities including a very interesting sausage shop. The area is ideal for touring the Lakes and the Dales.

Such a lovely property, very clean and comfortable. We loved every minute. Owners messaged to pre warn us on the day of unexpected snow :) Lovely and warm, and the views were amazing! Only issue we had was that when we had a bath, it would leak through into the living-room space when emptying the bath.

What a little jem satre cottage is had a fantastic time here we even got some sunshine we would highly recommend the walks in and around the woods 5 stars xx
