At nearby Carnforth, famed for being the filming location of Brief Encounter, step back in time and visit the railway station and nearby tea rooms, heritage sites which still appear as they did during this 1940's film. There is also an onsite Tapas bar, Italian restaurant and bar. However, the pretty villages that surround the resort also offer a number of traditional pubs.
