Although I was told to check in after 5pm and check out before 9am so as the lodge could be prepared properly (***** ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES HAVE CHANGED TO ALLOW MORE TIME TO PREPARE THE PROPERTY. PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE AT YOUR PROPERTY BEFORE 5PM AND LEAVE BEFORE 9AM ON YOUR DAY OF DEPARTURE. THIS INFORMATION SUPERSEDES THE CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES BELOW. THANK YOU *****) I was quite surprised at the lack of cleanliness. Normally I would have ignored it, but as such a big thing had been made about allowing extra time, I seemed to notice more. I found the carpet under the table had obviously not been hoovered at all because there were crumbs and all sorts under there. Also, a few of the place mats were very sticky where they hadn’t been wiped over properly. The windows at the patio doors were also filthy with finger marks. This was a real shame because the lodge and equipment provided was more than adequate.

Well equipped and tastefully furnished. Spacious, open plan accommodation. Nice veranda for sitting out. Two lovely bedrooms, two very small and only really suitable for children.

The accommodation is tired. Broken patio chairs. Broken decking - dangerous. This was mended immediately. Broken standard lamp - dangerous. Cooker not clean, grill pans dirty.
