High quality bedding, furniture, cooking equipment etc a great stay. I would like to say that the cottage would need a good dusting and better lighting in the living room area. This didnât take away from our stay but at £1300 plus for the week Iâd expect no cobwebs, dusty corners or dusty skirting boards. Still a nice cottage though.

Beautiful views and peaceful setting. Issue with access to back patio sorted. But took Sykes four days to respond to my email sent on the day we arrived. Totally unacceptable and I found the attitude of staff when spoke over the phone very unhelpful and unsatisfactory and is why I would find it hard to recommend Sykes. Unfortunately Lakelovers is now part of Sykes so I will probably have to use again. Letâs hope you take heed of my comments.

I myself asked for this to be checked prior to our stay and was assured it had been however it hadnât and due to shower screen needing replacing water subsequently dripped down the bath panel and through the living room ceiling! This was despite us doing our best to try and prevent this happening with cloths and bath mats! Reported to the owner through the week no response received - rude!
