In nearby Kirkby-in-Furness, you'll find a Post Office with village shop, two pubs and the railway station. Ulverston is only 6 miles away. The birthplace of Stan Laurel, Ulverston has a long history as a bustling market town and has a wealth of independent shops and cafes.
Both the Lake District National Park and beautiful South Cumbrian Coast are easily accessible from Grizebeck. Learn all about the history of the Furness Peninsula at Dalton Castle and Furness Abbey. Spend a day exploring the nature reserves on Walney Island, depending on the timing of your visit there's plenty to see from a wide variety of birds to the grey seals who also like to visit this part of the Cumbrian coast.
