" The owner and are extremely helpful and friendly. The cottage is just a perfect little gem! It is cosy, clean and with all the facilities you could need including 2 modern bathrooms. With a 5 minute walk to the centre it is ideally located. We just love it and can't wait to go back! "

" It was so lovely to come back to the cottage after a long autumn walk , light the fire and shut the world out. I would highly recommend this cottage - excellent value for money! "
    Mrs Hay ‐ 1 Nov 2018
" The booking process and all subsequent communication was quick and easy (refreshing in this day and age). The cottage perfectly matched its description. It was cosy and extremely well equipped. It's location couldn't have been much better - it was a lovely 5 minute walk into town. It was adjacent to a busy road but up a steep drive, which led to experiencing no noise (unless the windows were left open at the front) and excellent views across to the fells - you could only see the road if you looked down out of certain windows so very much felt that you were in a rural location. We knew from the cost that it wasn't going to be "high end", which was reflected in things that didn't matter to us - a few imperfections with flooring, beading and the odd piece of furniture. Thank you to and the owners. We had a fabulous time. "
    Mrs Bennett ‐ 1 Oct 2018
" Perfect location. Will definitely book again. "
    Mrs Davies ‐ 1 Sep 2018

" The accommodation was really clean and tidy well presented parking no problem Good lactation 7_8 minute walk to all attractions Would have no hesitation in staying at this property again really enjoyed stay "
    Mrs Allison
" Road noise was not very intrusive, only heard a little from outside the cottage, two outdoor seating areas to take advantage of the sun, we were very fortunate to have lovely warm sunny weather. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Another plus is the short walk to the lake in Bowness & also frequency of the open topped buses, did not use our car all week. Would not hesitate to book High Moor Cottage in future. "
    Mrs Millington
" At the perimeter of the village which meant that we had peace and quiet but five minute walk to the heart of all the hustle and bustle. It also meant the car was on a driveway and we didn't have to go looking for a car space whenever we came back from sightseeing. The cottage itself was furbished for a home and not just as a holiday rental. Everything you needed was there and much more. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone else. "
    Mrs Walton
" The cottage is cosy, beautifully maintained and perfectly located, catering for your every need. Everything is thought of from a bottle of washing up liquid with a pack of cleaning cloths to the wood and kindling ready to light the wood burning stove. We love this cottage! Will definitely be back again soon. "
    Miss Kluka
" The cottage is very well looked after and was so well equipped We wish we could have stayed a few more days but we will definitely be back "
    Mrs Starr
" Short walk into Bowness-on-Windermere which has a number of shops and attractions. "
" This was an ideal place to stay for my husband and I and my friend and her husband. The location of it was close enough for us to walk into Bowness each evening for our evening meals. Access to all places around the South Lakes was relatively easy. The Cottage itself was comfortable although the bedrooms were a bit small. We chose the property because it had a bathroom and a shower room with 2 toilets and there was ample parking available for 2 cars which were our requirements. "
    Mrs Natalie Walford, Atherstone, Warwickshire
"It was really homely and made the week very comfortable. Didn't want to leave."
    Mr Des Barry, Wokingham, Berkshire
"What a fantastic cottage that is conveniently located for short walks to shops & restaurants in Bowness. The owners had thought of everything and the cottage was extremely well equipped. There was lovely décor throughout with a modern shower room and comfortable beds made for a great way to relax at the end of a day walking. I can't rate this place highly enough and would recommend as the perfect holiday accommodation. We will definitely be seeking out this property the next time we come to the Lake District."
    Mr Des Barry, Wokingham, Berkshire
"A fantastic location, and the property had everything we needed. It had really comfy beds and a great shower which made it a great place to come back to after long days hill walking in the surrounding area. The only problem was having to pack up and go home as we enjoyed our stay so much. Will definitely be checking availability at High Moor Cottage for our next trip to the Lakes."

The cottage was very clean and attractively decorated."
