Howgill is a second floor purpose built apartment, situated only a stone's throw away from the centre of Windermere, and a five minute walk from the train station. Windermere is a pretty town which grew around the railway station the town is only a mile and a half from the Lake. Over many years the little gem town became merged with the older lakeside town of Bowness-on-Windermere both of which retain their original vibrant town centres. A wide variety of water sports, walking and climbing activities, museums, shops, galleries and restaurants await you. Brockhole visitors centre, Ambleside and Grasmere are only a short drive away.

We had a wonderful time on our recent holiday to Windermere, we were exstremley happy we our accommodation, the apartment was very spacious, and was well equipped, we couldn\'t have asked for anything more, and we would definately stay there again, I would also recommend it to friends and family.Thank you for a wonderful stay.Mr rawnsley and family.

The flat had every appliance you would need. It is very spacious. The only thing we found was the sofa in front of the TV is not very comfortable as it doubles up as a safa bed. We had a really good visit and would recomend the flat to friends and family.
