Lakeland View Lodge offers fabulous contemporary accommodation overlooking Lake Windermere. This beautifully finished lodge is located at White Cross Bay, between Windermere and Ambleside.

Offering spacious and modern living, this family and dog-friendly lodge is the ideal base for an exploration of the gorgeous Lake District at any time of year.

The open plan living accommodation is beautifully decorated in a very contemporary style with comfortable squashy sofas positioned around the chic coal effect electric fire. The modern kitchen is well equipped with a range of integrated appliances and there are floor to ceiling windows and patio doors to make the most of the natural light - and the views out over Lake Windermere. The king size master bedroom has a TV and an en-suite shower room with WC and hand basin. There's a cosy twin bedroom with a TV and a second double bedroom.

The wrap around deck is a real feature of this lodge. There's good quality patio furniture making this the perfect spot to sit out and admire the views over Lake Windermere, dine al fresco or enjoy a glass of wine or a local ale after the hustle and bustle of a day in the Lakes. Best of all, imagine relaxing in your own private hot tub watching one of the fabulous sunsets for which the Lake District is renowned. Off road parking for 2 cars is provided with Lakeland View Lodge.

The Lake District is the ideal location for a family holiday at any time of year and Lake Windermere is right at the very heart of this spectacular region. White Cross Bay offers a range of leisure facilities and woodland walks, with play areas for the children and an indoor heated pool. The park has its own shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway, plus a marina and multi-use games area ideal for football, basketball and tennis. WiFi is available in the main areas of the park.

Windermere and Ambleside are just a short drive from White Cross Bay and there's plenty for all the family to enjoy with shops, bars and excellent restaurants plus family attractions like Beatrix Potter World, the Treetop Trail and the Ambleside climbing wall. Enjoy a trip to the award-winning Lakes Aquarium, a ride on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway, or why not take a scenic drive over the Kirkstone Pass to Keswick, Grasmere and the North Lakes. A day at the beach and a trip to Hadrian's Wall are all an easy, and picturesque, drive away.
