There are fantastic views from Oak Cottage towards Lingmoor Fell and many walks to be enjoyed if you want to explore this beautiful part of Cumbria and the Lake District by foot.The basement is a delight for children and the young at heart as it's now a games and TV room. Alternatively you can relax in the lounge, small seating area in the twin room or the garden.

Really enjoy staying at the property - have stayed there a number of times over the last 4 or 5 years. Very conveniently positioned for all that we want in the Langdales. We find the property very spacious, warm and has all that we need for our stays. We hope to return many times in the future.

A lovely property that we would love to return to. Spotlessly clean and everything that you could possibly need for a holiday was provided. We have never stayed in such well equipped accommodation. Lots of walks from the doorstep and the local co-op was excellently stocked. It also has a cafe but due to a family bereavement was closed when we were there.

Oak Cottage is a superb property in a lovely Lakeland village. It's really comfortable and very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and will certainly return.
