We had a perfect week at Broomriggs 7. It was our first visit and we will definitely return. Comfortable, well equipped with beautiful gardens. The rowing boats on the Lake are a great bonus- we saw Ospreys, Herons and Cormorants close up. The location is very peaceful but has good access to many beautiful walks. We recommend Rydal Mount, Wordsworth's home, walks along Lake Windermere and Coniston and the drive over the Kirkstone pass.

Yet another fine holiday at Broomriggs - yes we even had good weather! Number 7 gives especially good views of that gorgeous scenery, and it's always a pleasure to return, as we've done many times.

The warden was very helpful, the grounds extensive and well kept;
