We had a great holiday in Bowness in The Lakes District in a centrally located lovely property where we could park and leave the car. The location meant we could just walk out of the door and enjoy the local scenery and facilities, returning during the day or later on to prepare a meal (all equipment to hand, even herbs and spices) then look forward to a good night's sleep in comfy beds.
