The master bedroom with its super-king sized zip-link bed is light and airy, with its sloping ceiling and more beams; the second double room is pretty and comfortable. A luxury bathroom completes the apartment, with its incredible view across the lake and a designer bath, with a shower above it.

While there is no outside space, you are right in the heart of Bowness, with so much to see and do on the doorstep, that a garden is something you won’t miss.

Bowness has all the bars and restaurants you could want, and a whole host of attractions to explore. If you're a Beatrix Potter fan, you couldn't be better located than being directly above the World of Beatrix Potter Exhibition. If films are your thing, you can enjoy the cinema at Bowness, or The Old Laundry Theatre for something different, and with a variety of eateries, you're sure to find plenty you like. Lake Windermere is a short hop away for lake cruises to explore the local area, water sports, beautiful hikes, or take the steam train to Haverthwaite.

Explore a little further at Ambleside for more Beatrix Potter at the Gallery and Wray Castle, visit Windermere village or venture to Grasmere for more beautiful views and walks. And you're not too far away from Keswick and Kendal for more days out and other attractions, such as Kendal Castle, Sizergh Castle and Hawkshead Brewery.
