The village is surrounded by some of the best walking in the Lakes, Wansfell and Stockghyll Falls both easily accessible from the door, or jump in the car and within a short drive you will find the Langdale Horseshoe, Coniston Old Man and Skiddaw. Enjoy a different view whilst relaxing aboard a cruise on Lake Windermere and with the pier being only a short walk away, Bowness and Lakeside can be easily explored.
