Mary's Cottage is an ideal base for couples wishing to walk many of the local fells and mountains and also for those who wish to have a more relaxed holiday, located in the centre of Grasmere and within a few minutes walk of the shops, pubs and restaurants. Dove Cottage is a short stroll away as is the world famous Grasmere Gingerbread shop.
The modern cottage is all on one level and provides a cosy retreat ideal for the more mature client, ideal for those who have difficulties with stairs. The garden area is ideal to enjoy a glass of wine after a day on the fells or relax on a sunny day.

A nice warm welcome from the owner upon our arrival, we were shown all the amenities in the cottage.The location is spoton right in the middle of Grasmere but out of the main tourist area.Nothing to dislike a excellent holiday.

This holiday was great!!! And the cottage was absolutely lovely, was so nice when you came home after being out all day with the dogs and come home to a nice warm & cosy cottage,it was in a great location you just went out front door and your there among the heart of Grasmere the shops,pubs,and great eating places we both loved ash cottage hotel also the lamb,well I can't say anymore but it was great can't wait to go back next year and Malcolm & Trish were great, so all in all it was a very enjoyable experience very relaxing which is what we both needed away from work
