Ambleside is a lovely place to stay or visit.

The property is ideally located for lots of great places to eat, we would recommend The Tap Yard and The Flying Fleece both just across the road. The cottage is clean and cosy. The bathroom has been refitted since our last stay and has a great shower. The beds are comfortable and there are lots of books, DVD's and games for you to use. The kitchen is well equipped although we did mostly eat out. There are good walks you can do straight from the property and there is designated parking for 1 vehicle right at the door. We have already booked our return visit for next year so you could say we would recommend it! : )
