    This attractive first floor holiday apartment lies in the beautiful, wooded, Neaum Crag estate and occupies an excellent central Lakeland location. Less than 3 miles from Ambleside for shopping, cinema and dining out, S18310 is a tranquil base for a comfortable and relaxing stay in any season. The property features high, beamed ceilings which create a feeling of light and space, whilst furnishings throughout are stylish with coordinating fabrics, and lots of personal touches create a homely atmosphere. Take a gentle walk to Elterwater and Loughrigg Tarn, or enjoy easy access to the surrounding fells (there is a breathtaking panorama from nearby Neaum Crag). Boating and watersports are available only 3 miles away at Grasmere and Lake Windermere. Fishing nearby.

    "We had a really enjoyable stay. The only negatives that we can mention are only minor. We felt that there should have been a couple of pint glasses. A couple of areas could have been cleaner. The balcony was covered in leaves and branches and should have been cleaned before our arrival. Please don't let this out you off as we would definitely return."

    "Loved S18310, very cosy and comfortable with great amenities. We were unlucky with the weather, so missed out on the opportunity of sitting out on the balcony to enjoy a ‘sundowner’ whilst overlooking the tarn, nevertheless it is still a lovely spot to sit and chill. Ambleside provides a good base for easy access to surrounding areas, and for those opting to ‘self cater ‘ there is a good variety of shops from which to purchase your food and drink. Would definitely recommend The Talbot pub, gorgeous food and if you’ve eaten too much the walk back up the hill will soon burn off those extra calories! Also had a lovely meal at Sticklebarn, very welcoming and a good place to stop at, after a great day out. Already discussing when to do a return visit."

    "Comfortable apartment in beautifully quiet setting. Slightly small for two adults and teenagers with 4 bikes and lots of walking and cycling gear, however we managed by locking bikes to railing outside front door. Homely decor and a good choice of dvd’s for the children. Pool was very small but boys had fun despite this. Has to buy table tennis balls as they were missing."

    "We enjoyed our five night stay at S18310.The cottage was ideal for our needs; very well equipped and most important,very clean.It also has a balcony which we were able to use each day. Its location is in a lovely part of the Lakes with easy access to Ambleside and its many restaurants."
