The cottage is modern with 3 bedrooms in an ‘upside down’ style, with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living space on the first floor. On the ground floor you’ll find a master double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom. On the first floor there is a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom and WC. Outside there is a small, shared garden for guests to enjoy in addition to the leisure club facilities which are included in the cost.

Within the village guests will find lots of entertainment suitable for families, including a crazy golf course, putting greens, giant outdoor games, a play area, holistic therapy centre and laundry room. There is a local pub just a few minutes walk from the accommodation.

Just a few minutes drive from Lake Ullswater, there is lots to do in the surrounding area and foothills. Enjoy water sports nearby or head up Blencathra Fell for a challenging walk in the hills that will take most of the day. Within easy driving distance you’ll have access to some of the best hill walks to be found in the Lake District.

This charming village has a number of 17th century cottages and is conveniently situated just 5 miles from Penrith. Set just on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park, only 5 miles from Ullswater and the numerous walks available make this a fabulous location for fans of the outdoors. Nearby, the popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the north of the Lake District and has plenty to offer, numerous shops and restaurants, as well as offering the Theatre on the Lake, a cinema, museum, indoor climbing wall and miniature golf.
