Duke's Pond is in a prime position overlooking the pond at Duke's Meadow. Perfectly based for exploring the northern Lakes and Eden Valley the development is a few minutes off the M6 with Lake Ullswater a 10 minute drive and Keswick 15 minutes away, a trip over Kirkstone Pass will take you to Ambleside and Bowness on Windermere. This dog friendly lodge is ideal for a family holiday at any time of year.

Accommodation

Duke's Meadow is situated midway between Keswick and Penrith and within a short drive of Lake Ullswater, the park has 30 pine clad lodges mostly utilised by the owners but with a small few being available as holiday accommodation. There is a small stream running through the centre of the park and each lodge has its own garden where birds and red squirrels can regularly be seen, private parking and views over the countryside towards the Lakeland fells. The location of the lodges means there are ample walking opportunities from the door, the neighbouring Greystoke Forest and the surrounding countryside are all easily accessible, whilst the Lakeland Fells are all within a short drive. The park is within easy access of the motorway.
Duke's Pond is furnished and equipped to cater for all your needs, and as the name suggests, overlooks the small pond, one of the best positions on the park. The secure gated decking ensures privacy and prevents your four legged friends escaping.
The lodge is heated by wall mounted electric radiators and comprises:Lounge/dining room with combination TV/DVD player, bluetooth speakers and electric fire.
Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine.
Double bedroom with wall mounted TV and integral DVD player and en-suite shower room with hand basin and WC.
Twin bedroom with wall mounted TV with integral DVD player.
Bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC.All electric, bed linen and towels included.
