Elm Court, a central second floor apartment in Keswick sleeping 4 people in 2 bedrooms. Leading onto the lounge/diner which is bright and airy, which has been tastefully decorated with views over the River Greta, an ideal place to relax and unwind after a day's sightseeing. The kitchen is equipped to a high standard and has all the amenities you should require whilst staying at Elm Court. The market town of Keswick is a few minutes' walk and you will not need your car once you have parked up for your stay, as everything is on your doorstep, shops, restaurants and bars.
Keswick is a year round destination with a wide variety of attractions on offer including, lake cruises on Derwentwater, live performances at the Theatre by the Lake, fine fell walking, lively street markets and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Hope Park is a relaxing and beautiful place to visit at any time of year it is only a five minute walk from the apartment, here you could enjoy a round of golf or keep the children entertained with a game of crazy golf. Also nearby you will find the River Greta and Fitz Park with tennis courts, pitch and put golf or just simply stroll along side the river. For the more energetic visit Whinlatter Forest Park which has a fantastic mountain biking trail and also hosts the tree top adventure Go Ape.

Excellent location for the Keswick Convention and for the shops in town. Only 15-20 minutes walk through lovely woods to the lakeshore (on boardwalk). Flat was superbly equipped with everything you could need for self catering. Lovely homely touches like candles for the table, and matches provided too! Only disappointment is that it's already booked for week 2 of the convention next year!

Parking space was handy. Decent Internet and the smart TV was great too. Well stocked kitchen to make your own meals. It had almost everything needed for a week's stay (see below). It was disappointing that only 1 washing up tablet and 3 dishwasher tablets were supplied. No spare bin liners either. Clearly insufficient for a week's stay. Contacted Sykes and was informed that they were basically the 'welcome pack'. So we ended up buying the items at the local Co-op. We've stayed at many properties before and this was the first time we've had to do this. Also, the bathroom extractor fan is on 24/7 (a written notice taped over the switch advises not to turn it off). We duly complied but had to put up with the constant whirring throughout the night. All in all though we did have a pleasant stay.
