This delightful semi-detached cottage is situated on the owners' livestock farm, in the lovely village of Rosthwaite in the beautiful Lake District National Park. To the front of this cottage in the Lake District is an enclosed garden, whilst the village of Rosthwaite has a shop, a superb tea room and an excellent pub. The road from Rosthwaite takes you to the Honister Pass, which links Borrowdale with the lakes of Buttermere, Crummock Water and Loweswater, plus Honister is also the home to a slate mine, where guided tours can be enjoyed, and for the really adventurous the Via Ferrata (iron road) provides a unique climbing experience. With plenty of opportunities for cycling, and the bustling town of Keswick just a 20 minute drive away, this is an ideal base for a cottage holiday in the Lake District National Park.

The village of Rosthwaite is situated in the Borrowdale area of the Lake District National Park. The village, surrounded by fells and meadows offers a pub, hotel and tea room. Close by is the town of Keswick, which has a number of shops and restaurants, along with miniature golf, parks, the Pencil Museum and the famous Theatre by the Lake.
