Great accommodation for a group booking. Great location, close to Bassenthwaite Lake and so made an excellent base for our Kayaking weekend. Short drive in to Keswick for anything you need or even a night out. Large Hot tub in back yard. Large dining room/dining table. Very large pans. There was no Playstation which we were expecting (from property description) but that wasn't really an issue. Pool table was a little damaged and so wasn't the best, but we still managed a few games. There is also a dart board. There was no salt and pepper which was a bit annoying come meal/cooking time - appreciate this is probably a fallout from COVID. Thank you for the goodies on arrival - Prosecco, beer and crisps.Would highly recommend this property for a group of 5-10. We were 5 friends and so had a room each - all good sizes. There are 2 ensuite and 1 shared bathroom and a toilet downstairs too.There is a good sized living room with a reasonable amount of seating and additional seating in the games room.There is internet and smart TV although a little slow, especially if other devices are connected - we found it better for phones to be on their own data and even tethered the TV to a phone for a quicker connection at times for watching sports etc...All in all, superb accommodation that we are highly likely to re-book in the future.*Tip: The cutlery is in a small hidden drawer inside the large top drawer to the left of the glasses cupboard - took us ages (and a phone call) to find.
