This spacious cottage has a delightful kitchen with granite worktops, Belfast sink and a warming oil-fired Rayburn, plus a bright and light dining area and welcoming comfy seating for seven, complete with piano, making this a great space for a family gathering and a singsong! A further separate sitting room boasts a cosy woodburning stove and flat screen TV, whilst also on the ground floor is a shower room and a zip/link super king-size bedroom. Upstairs, you will find four further bedrooms and a bathroom, making this charming cottage a great base for all group sizes. Outside is a large enclosed lawned garden complete with a decked area, superb 5/6-seater hot tub, patio furniture and there’s also an external lockable outbuilding with pool table, dartboard, and extra storage for bikes; perfect for young and old alike. The cottage is ideally situated for a wide range of outdoor pursuits, with canoeing, fishing, cycling, riding and tennis courts available locally together with an abundance of walks, including the Wye Valley Walk and Herefordshire Trail. The local pub at Preston-on-Wye serves good food and real ale, whilst further amenities can be found in nearby Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. After a busy day exploring the area, head back to this wonderful cottage for a relax in the hot tub.

Preston-on-Wye is a rural village situated close to the River Wye on the edge of the beautiful Golden Valley, within each of Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. The village has a pub and is surrounded by lovely countryside including the Offa's Dyke Pathway and Wye Valley walks. The ancient city of Hereford boasts a magnificent cathedral and the market town of Hay-on-Wye is famous for its bookshops.
