There is a footpath you can access directly from the farm or hop in the car and take the five minute drive to the historic Mortimer Trail which starts at the medieval Ludlow Castle.

Pear Tree Cottage has undergone an extensive refurbishment but still retaining original features such as exposed beams throughout. It is perfect for couples wanting to escape their hectic life and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The light and airy open kitchen area boasts a hand built kitchen, with the dining area overlooking the traditional cider orchard. On cooler evenings you can light the wood burning stove and snuggle up with a book or simply relax in front of the television. Leading upstairs to the bedroom where you can sink into a sumptuous super-king size bed, or relax in the comfortable chair and enjoy beautiful views across to Clee. You also have the luxury of a modern en-suite shower room.

Outside there is patio area with a charcoal barbecue and garden furniture, ideal for alfresco dining. You can enjoy watching the stars on darker evening due to the cottage being located in a class 4 dark sky area. Alternatively you can take a stroll to the village pub, which is less than half a mile away and can be reached along a public footpath.

The cottage is conveniently located on the border of South Shropshire and North Herefordshire, making it easy to reach many of the beautiful rural spots and fascinating attractions both counties have to offer. The historic town of Ludlow is only six miles away, with its many fine eating establishments and various food festivals.

Please note, there is a low beam running across the ceiling in the bedroom which is 172.5cm high (5ft 8ins).

A charcoal barbecue is provided.

Allocated parking for one car before entering the gate. Guests may drive though the main gate to unload their car, and then park in the designated parking space.
