About this property

This 16th century detached barn conversation is the largest of four Luntley cottages on the owners' working farm in the hamlet of Luntley, and offers character beams, wall timbers and a beautiful living area with underfloor heating. A spiral staircase leads to the three bedrooms, which again boast ceiling beams and wall timbers, and this whole Luntley cottage has been tastefully furnished to offer cosy, comfortable accommodation. This welcoming Luntley cottage is the perfect base for a family holiday or break with friends. This cottage can be booked with Refs 2215, 2216 and 2217 to accommodate 22.

Luntley is a hamlet, tiny in size and rural in location, set to the north of Herefordshire in the Welsh Marches. Visitors to Luntley will enjoy the walking and cycling available in the surrounding countryside, while for amenities with character, head 2 miles down the road to Pembridge, a medieval village on the Black and White Village Trail, whose half timbered houses, three olde worlde pubs, 14th century market hall and interesting church make this village a firm favourite with visitors. Hereford and Hay-on-Wye are within easy reach, and well worth the trip.

Lots of space for a family of 5 (it would even accommodate a lot more). Everything was on hand in the fully equipped kitchen with lots of seating. Lovely owner who came to check everything was ok on a good few occasions. An all round great Christmas thanks to our stay here and I will definitely be going back.

We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely family break away from the busy lifestyle despite the weather. No complaints from us

The garden is very relaxing and the property is an ideal base for Hereford, Hay on wye, Ledbury and lots of other very pretty places. The bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable, and shower rooms have a great pressure! It is quite remote with the nearest shop a couple of miles away, and from some directions access is via a very tight country lane. Only slight drawback was the flies everywhere and a lack of basics such as bin liners and cleaning products. DVDs would also have been very welcome!
