Positioned on the border of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire and in the famous Royal Forest of Dean, Gable Barn has an abundance of activities and things to door all on your doorstep.

Situated in the heart of a small village with lush green forests all close by, Gable Barn is finished and furnished to a charming standard for you to have an unforgettable stay in this beautiful area. The 14th-century traditional stone-built barn provides a tranquil environment where you can relax into country life but remains within easy reach of the many activities the region offers.

The downstairs has an open plan feel with a kitchen/diner, and sitting room that looks out onto the barns private garden. There is also a downstairs bedroom, perfect for anyone who does not want to contend with the stairs. On the first floor, the three oak-beamed bedrooms along with the family bathroom can be found.

The Forest of Dean is all about the fantastic outdoor activities you can do. You will find Go Ape and Puzzlewood (where some of the new Star Wars was filmed) close by and for the more adventurous people in the group why not try some local kayaking, off-road cycling or explore the many caves and waterfalls. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the wild boar in the area as the forest has the largest population in England.

If you're looking for a spot of shopping and lunch, Ross-on-Wye and the Cotswold towns of Cheltenham and Gloucester are all within easy reach.

Sitting room: Seating for 7, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. A door out onto the garden.
Kitchen/Dining Room: Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher.
Bedroom one: (sleeps 2) two single beds than can be converted into a kingsized bed on request. Please be aware if the bed is converted it limits space.
Downstairs WC.
First Floor
Bedroom two: (sleeps 2), with a double bed.
Bedroom three: (sleeps 2), with a double bed, door to outside steps into the garden.
Bedroom four: (sleeps 1) with a single day bed.
Bathroom: corner bath with separate shower.
