About this property

A well-presented cottage resting within the courtyard of a 15th century listed black and white farmhouse, close to the medieval village of Eardisley. The Granary houses a traditional farmhouse feel, with the beautiful exposed beams, woodframed windows and a roaring woodburning fire. You will be delighted with the amply equipped kitchen, where you will be able to rustle up a home-cooked meal before the family gather around the dining table for head outside to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining. Cosy up with your loved ones within the sitting room, where you can enjoy a games evening with the warmth of the woodburning fire filling the space with tranquillity before you head to bed. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 971659, together sleeping up to 10 people.

Eardisley is a medieval village located between Kington and Hay-on-Wye. It houses many 16th century black and white cottages, a Norman church, two pubs and village shop. The surrounding area is known for its excellent walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and canoeing in the nearby River Wye. Also close by are the tourist attractions of Eastnor Castle, Hergest Croft Gardens, the Offa's Dyke Path and the Mortimer Trail.

It's in the middle of no where so great to switch off. The cottage has all the facilities and amenities you need. Super cosy and spacious. The cupboards and drawers could be dusted in the main bedroom (didn't use the second bedroom). But overall highly recommend.

So tranquil and peaceful. Gorgeous gardens and a very friendly cat called Dewi. Great base for exploring. Be sure to visit Eardisland, chocolate box beautiful houses. Would definitely book The Granary again. It has everything and the settee and king bed are super comfy. Slept so well.

The best nights sleep. Beautifully decorated and spacious. The Granary is in a lovely countryside setting. So peaceful and perfect location for visiting the Hereford and Shropshire. We would certainly recommend and hope to return again in future. Thank you
