An exceptional hideaway for a couple, you will be located in a hidden valley on the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way, beautifully isolated and with incredible views across the hills. The views are mesmerizing and totally uninterrupted, you can see the countryside change before your eyes with the sheep, the occasional horse and the birds coming and going. Totally open plan with clever sliding doors between the bedroom and living area but with an entire 'wall' given over to glass sliders (windows that can be pulled back entirely) you have total view of the hills from your chair, your table or you bed. Furnished beautifully the style is a mix of chic with an industrial tone - you'll be as snug as bug with the underfloor heating and with luxury furnishings you'll be so relaxed you won't want to leave. You could walk for hours and not touch a road, or better still you could stay in bed and simply watch the clouds pass by. The Cotswold's has something undeniably gorgeous with this romantic bolt hole. Even in mid winter we were awe-struck at this place, you will be too!

Slad, Gloucestershire is a short drive away from the town of Stroud, which is known as the less commercial corner of the Cotswolds, a somewhat bohemian collection of buildings, squares and lanes, tucked into the green hills which once housed countless sheep during the town’s time as the centre of the Cotswold’s woollen industry. Today, Stroud welcomes visitors to its friendly cafes, quaint bookshops, independent shops and tempting eateries.
