Modern and stylish yet with traditional charm, this luxury cottage has been lovingly refurbished and faces south with wonderful views. With a comfortable sitting room with gas effect fireplace, a well equipped kitchen with dining table with an additional gas effect stove. The cosy bedroom on the second floor has a 6' super king-size zip and link bed, original exposed beams and country views. Boasting two bathrooms, this property is full of luxury touches. The pretty Cotswold garden is south facing so you can make the most of the evening sun.
Painswick is arguably one of the most attractive of the larger Cotswold wool villages and is the epitome of the perfect English village. Known as the 'Queen of the Cotswolds' and lying half-way along the Cotswold Way National Trail, and is made up of beautiful individual buildings built of mellow Cotswold stone from the local quarry. There is much to discover by just wandering around the quaint and narrow streets, such as the independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, cottage businesses, exhibitions and historical buildings, some dating back to the 15th century. Walking in the area is quite outstanding, in every direction, through countless hidden valleys with streams, wooded hillsides and breath-taking views.

Spring Cottage is accessed only by foot under a low arch by way of a courtyard. It is recommended that guests initially park by St Mary's Church in Vicarage Square (GL6 6QA) and unload and within the hour re-park in Stamages Lane car park (free of charge) just on the other side of St Mary's Churchyard.
Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and are requested to please keep to the ground floor.
Although there is no parking at the property, there is a car park within walking distance.

The property was in a perfect location for us, was beautifully furnished and clean and the owner had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We liked the fact that our dog was made to feel welcome too, with beds, bowls and treats provided.

Lovely cottage in Painswick tucked away of the main road away from the noise of traffic ,nice views from the upper rooms .

Cottage could do with some redecoration it is beginning to look a little tierd. However it was still lovely and very comfortable. Painswick is beautiful, lovely walks from the door. Excellent restaurants.
