The Westies offers the perfect location to explore the Forest of Dean and The Cotswolds. Sleeping six in two cottages.

The Westies is a delightful pair of cottages in a charming village in the beautiful Forest of Dean. Both have been lovingly restored and retain many character features and offer a lovely cosy feeling as soon as you walk through the door.

The cottages share an entrance porch making it perfect to pop from one cottage to the other.

The first is quaint in size and style and can accommodate two. You will find a comfy sitting room leading into the fully equipped kitchen with a lovely view of the private garden. Upstairs a large double bedroom awaits perfect to laze around in the morning.

The second of the cottages has been sympathetically renovated recently with a vintage style theme. You will find a good sized sitting room with kitchen off the rear, spiral staircase to the second floor and two great sized bedrooms.

Village life revolves around the old church, quaint public inns, and the village shop, which provides for guests’ daily needs such as fresh bread and local produce. The truly amazing thing about this cottage is the setting. The Forest of Dean offers plenty for the adventurous from mountain biking, zip wires, kayaking and horse riding etc. There is an abundance of cycle tracks and valley walks where you may even encounter the native wild boar. Alternatively; just relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity in this little rural retreat.
