The master bedroom was large, comfy bed and very good en-suite. It was clean throughout and the garden was good for our dog. Only comment was we couldn't find both parking spaces as only one was marked ( which was under cover). The 2nd space was found by luck, it's not marked though which would help. Otherwise the village has a friendly community with excellent local pub, cafe and shop. Much appreciated wine milk, biscuits etc that was left for us. Thank you.

!! Our THIRD visit to Ivy Cottage was during xmas 2023 for 2 weeks. We chose Ivy Cottage because of the wonderful location with fantastic bird watching from the front door(or even the kitchen window!).However our stay was not quite as good as before. We felt Ivy Cottage to be in need of a little tlc. Both the couches in the lounge are now warn out and were uncomfortable to sit on for longer periods.Being December we were expecting to spend more time indoors and hence we noticed that both were well worn.Just a few little items in the kitchen were also showing signs of heavy usage.Washing machine not doing a very good spin. Thus using tons more electric to dry clothes. When your there for 2 weeks you need to do washing including change the bed etc.Fridge freezer was impossible to change the temperature,as the touch screen adjustment would not allow us set the freezer a little colder, should be at minus 18,not minus 14,and fridge would not reset to plus 5 from plus 3,ie freezer to warm and fridge to cold.Window vents in lounge, 2 broken.Had to tape them up to avoid drafts and further use of gas to keep up with heat loss To sum up,just a few items in need of some repair, otherwise a wonderful house in a superb location. Mike,Val and Rupert, Hunstanton.
