Amazing scenery and villages to explore around Wearhead which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Not much outdoor space but an ideal base for walkers and sightseeing. We would definitely have another visit to Rockwell House.

It's very rare to find such spacious accommodation with big beds AND all en suite, plus a bathroom downstairs. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the equipment you need and the generous welcome pack was much appreciated. The neighbours were very friendly. There was no problem parking our two cars. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.

The size of bedrooms, the quality of beds, an en-suite in each room made for great accommodation, along with the two very good sized living rooms, each with a television - and a spacious dining/kitchen area. The accommodation is clearly a winner for many needs, a group of walking or biking couples would find the area, the natural environment with its many walks and the near villages and small towns enjoyable days out. We were able to park all three of our cars in parking spaces outside the property. There is no garden but a short 10 minute walk over the bridge and down the road, leads to a children's play area and sports court. The children loved it...and so did we.
