The little goodies on arrival like fresh baked bread were welcomed. The house is warm and the bedding luxurious- we visited Beamish and High Force but there is so much more to do in the area. The hot tub area is also a great feature.

Big kitchen, large lounge with TV and stove. Garden area well maintained and catches the sun during the day. Large clean indoor hot tub. Only issue (if you have elderly with you) are the amount of stairs to dining room and kitchen. Also having to park on steep hill is awkward. But village is lovely and has two great individual pubs/restaurant. We would definitely consider a return. Thanks to Karen.
