Directly outside of the cottage there is a paved area with garden bench and landscaped and grassed areas with table and chairs where you can rest and admire the delicate settings.

The town of Crook will make your day, with a range of cafe's and restaurants to explore at your own leisure, as well as a backdrop of traditional and modern buildings.

Resting close to Durham and Bishop Auckland, you have plenty of choice.

This is a homely cottage in a peaceful location.

A couple of miles north of the River Wear, Crook rests 9 miles south-west of the historic city of Durham, and 5 miles north-west of Bishop Auckland. Crook is often referred to as the "Gateway to Weardale". The centre of Crook features a portfolio of shops and businesses with a market held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Annual events include; Crook Carnival, Crook Community Christmas Event and the Crookfest music.
