This is a delightful Mickleton-in-Teesdale cottage, located in a lovely, south-facing position with wonderful views of the surrounding Teesdale countryside and located just a short walk from the Pennine Way. Lovingly furnished by the current owners, this Teesdale cottage provides an ideal holiday home for small families or a group of friends to get away from it all and enjoy this quiet area. Full of character and charm at every turn, this cottage in Mickleton-in-Teesdale has been furnished and styled, in keeping with the original features, to create a lovely homely feel throughout. The ground floor consists of a dining room and cosy sitting room with a beautiful, old oak door and additional heating from the inset woodburning stove. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, fitted with AEG and Bosch appliances, and a useful cloakroom. Full of character and charm throughout, with original beams and exposed stonework, the owners have carefully chosen a blend of old and new furnishings to complement the style of the holiday home. A wrought iron, circular staircase leads to a separate bedroom with a lovely en-suite, a delightful room with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. A separate staircase leads to two further bedrooms, both tastefully decorated and served by a standard bathroom. Outside, there are mature, well-stocked gardens to both the front and rear, and they provide a perfect location for relaxing after a hard day out on the local fells. With the stunning Teesdale landscapes right on your doorstep, this Mickleton-in-Teesdale cottage offers peace and seclusion but is perfectly positioned to explore the local attractions, including the nearby historic town of Barnard Castle with its cobbled streets, Victorian architecture and quaint lanes offering many independent shops and antiques centres which attract visitors all year round, while the Northern Dales are waiting to be discovered. Visit medieval Raby Castle with its deer park, The Bowes Museum, High Force Waterfall and Eggleston Hall. This delightful Teesdale cottage is ideal for whatever the time of year.

Situated in the heart of beautiful Teesdale close to the villages of Romaldkirk and Middleton is the small hamlet of Mickleton.
