...ideal if you had access to a car or didn't mind catching a bus as it was on the main road with a bus stop outside. The drive was big enough for 3 cars and inside the house was a lovely big kitchen, large sitting room, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Plenty of space for a large family such as ours with 6 adults, 1 teenager and a baby. Submitted by Mary on 30/11/2016

...Golden Wedding celebrations in February 2016. Our criteria were - off-street parking, dog friendly, clean and good location. Littlecot fulfilled not only all these needs but was also a warm and comfortable house for a chill February week. Whilst modern, it possessed a charming character with large log-burner in a stone inglenook in the lounge, and wonderful farmhouse style kitchen kitchen. Being just the two of us, we rattled around a bit, because it's a large 4-bed house, but a family would love it. Kids will fight over who gets the top bedroom, but all the bedrooms are great! The house is located literally one minute by car from the Portland peninsula, and about 5 minutes from Weymouth town centre, and with the coastal footpath less than 200 yards away. Although it was a little pricey for just two people, it would be worth every penny for a family of 4-8. Highly recommended. Submitted by Peter on 29/02/2016
