Poppy Place is very conveniently situated in the heart of Weymouth's lively town centre, a mere four minute stroll from Weymouth's main and award winning long and sandy beach with shallow waters. You can take a ride on the donkeys or jump on the trampolines whilst admiring those brave enough to go for a swim. Around a five minute walk away is the harbourside where you may enjoy viewing the visiting yachts and fisherman's boats as they come and go throughout the day. A stroll along the prom as the sun is setting behind the Georgian seafront and the waves gently lap at the shore is sure to bring you back to Weymouth again and again. Surrounding Poppy Place is a good selection of high street names and interesting independent shops. Cuisines from around the world can be found in Weymouth's restaurants, along with traditional fish & chips and fine harbour side dining. As this property is centrally located the lively atmosphere of the area should be considered when booking this property.
Accommodation: Stairs to first floor. Door into kitchen. Shower room with large shower, hand basin and toilet. Lounge/Diner with bay window overlooking the high street. Bedroom 1, double bed. Bedroom 2, twin single beds.

Please note: This property has a Zone parking permit included for one car in nearby on road parking areas, subject to availability. Poppy Place is located on St Thomas Street. This is a pedestrian zone with no vehicles except taxis and for loading by trucks between 5.30pm and 10.30am.

We had a fantastic holiday between Christmas and new year at Poppy Place in Weymouth. The flat is in a brilliant location in the high street, minutes from the beach, cinema, shops and restaurants. Inside the apartment it is clean well decorated and very spacious for four people. The bathroom is lovely with a massive shower. There is Wi-Fi, Netflix, amazon prime, free view and a stack of DVDs to watch. It is so well kitted out it is as if the owners move out for guests. The only concern we had before staying was the unloading as it is situated in a pedestrian area. As it turns out if you come after 5.30 the gates are open and you can park right opposite the apartment unload and move and find a parking space in a G or H zone which is quite easy. We liked it so much that we are back in Feb half turn to give it another go. Stayed December 2017.
