Guinea Cottage is comfortably furnished and excellently located a minute from the beautiful views of Newton's Cove. This little pebbly beach has great rock pools for crabbing. There are attractive coastal walks leading round to the old Nothe Fort and harbour. Just a short stroll from the cottage is the attractive Brewers Quay area and Hope Square, where you have a choice of dining opportunities, many with outside areas for an alfresco option when the sun is shining. Leading on from Hope Square is the pretty old harbourside where you can see working fishing boats and if the fishermen have a good catch, you may purchase a fresh crab or glistening fish for lunch. With boats going about their work along with luxury yachts, the harbour is a colourful and lively scene to enjoy. Crossing over the town bridge takes you to the town centre. As well as a good selection of well known high street brands, quaint little lanes house individual and quirky shops. Here also is the main beach, famous for its long golden sands and gentle shallow waters. With Weymouth often winning the UK sunshine awards, the benefit of Guinea Cottage's south facing patio garden means that you will hopefully catch a fair amount of sun here.
