Bonaventure benefits from a great location just minutes from Weymouth’s sandy beach, promenade and picturesque harbour. Weymouth is a classic seaside resort, with an abundance of attractions. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes to enjoy.

 

A short drive from Weymouth is Portland with its historic harbour. These areas were also the location for the sailing events at the 2012 Olympics. It is excellent for sailing, kite and wind surfing offering world class facilities ideal for getting involved or just taking in the view. In this area you will also find Chesil Beach, a vast pebble beach stretching for 18 miles. The views from the bay are spectacular, stretching across the horizon taking in the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline.

 

Take a stroll to the nearby Newtons Cove, a local favourite. Newtons Cove is a most unspoilt, beautiful bay where children will enjoy crabbing in the rock pools and you can enjoy barbeque in the gardens above, whilst enjoying the spectacular scenery towards Portland from this vantage point.
