Within the heart of the popular seaside town of Weymouth you will find Beachaven, a stunning home away from home. This large terraced house is just a few minutes’ walk from Weymouth’s bustling promenade and nationally renowned Blue Flag beach as well as its many attractions including Brewer’s Quay and the picturesque Harbourside and Marina. This is the perfect base for families and large groups alike to enjoy a well-deserved break on the Dorset coast.

Once inside this spacious and modern property, you are welcomed with both style and comfort. The large open plan dining area offers an elegant white gloss table that can extend to seat up to 12 guests. Has it been too long since you took your time over a special meal with your family and friends? At Beachaven, the well equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare a feast for you and your dear ones. For the music lovers in your group there is an ipod dock. With the addition of a gas effect fireplace and dimmable lighting all designed to create the perfect environment to kick back relax and unwind in.

Beachaven delights with two living areas. On the ground floor, the whimsical comic book themed play room provides an en suite, two leather sofas, an additional leather armchair, beanbags, a games console, Freesat and a flat screen television to keep guests and kids of all ages entertained. On the first floor there is a cosy, intimate living area with dimmable lighting and subtle décor. This room’s custom built leather seating space makes the perfect spot to enjoy the flat screen television and music player. There are flexible sleeping options across the six bedrooms, with a king size, two doubles, a twin-bunk, a single and a bedroom that can either be formatted as a twin or king size upon request. Two main bathrooms and a separate WC, along with three en-suites ensure nobody has to wait long to wash off those sandy toes after a day at the beach.

There are many cycle paths in and around Weymouth, in particular, one that takes you through the town and over to Chesil beach, taking in the official 2012 Olympic site and up to Portland Bill. In addition several boat tours run daily which give a fantastic historical look at how the landscape has been formed. The wider area is home to the Jurassic Coast, a 90 mile stretch of coastline which is England’s first Natural World Heritage Site.

In total Beachaven predominantly sleeps nine adults in traditional beds with its double and king size beds (and one trundle-bed for a single adult only), as well as bunk beds. To maintain a family friendly environment, the owners do not accept bookings from stag or hen parties. Additionally they do not accept bookings from those under the age of 21.
