The enviable location means that you may stroll down to Hope Square to enjoy restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. Walk through the square to reach the pretty Old Harbour and Newton's Cove. From here, the town centre and main Weymouth Beach, which is long and sandy, is another five minutes' walk away. With many activities possible in Weymouth from a boat trip around the coast, visiting the Nothe Fort or a day at the Sealife Centre it is possible to have fun filled days throughout your holiday.

So easy to walk to the beach and harbour and the many walks round Weymouth and to Portland. Would recommend South Harbour Cottage, it is a lovely cottage, like a tardis, small on the outside very spacious inside, would definitely use again.
