The house is well equipped providing all the comforts of home in a contemporary style. The open plan kitchen dining area is situated on the ground floor and a large lounge on the first floor takes advantage of the views out to sea. The largest room in the house is the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom on the top floor with views of the castle and out towards Portland Race. ...Portland, Dorset. This is our second holiday at this property and again it was still the same beautiful house that we enjoyed so much two years ago. The standard of cleaning is second to none. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, plenty of books, DVDs, toys etc. I think the only thing I could think of that was missing and believe me, I had to rack my brains, was a tea cosy but that is an extremely minor thing! The location is great and opposite the house you have Pennsylvania Castle and the beautiful Church Ope Cove which we love. It's extremely good value for money - Shearwater, we will be back! ...moment. The walk to the beach hut certainly slowed the children down for a short while. Submitted by David on 13/04/2015

...you could wish for: Good location for walking around Portland Bill and close to the Dorset holiday highlights. The owners have thought about everything to make your stay a very pleasant one. Submitted by Chris on 17/11/2014
