Pennsylvania Castle is just a few minutes walk and Portland Bill is within a short drive or moderate walk. Church Ope Cove, one of Portland's only beaches can be accessed by foot although access is via a steep coastal path which may be inaccessible to those with limited mobility. During your stay be sure to take a walk around Portland Marina, with some of the finest small boat sailing waters in Northern Europe. The area is a hive of sailing activity and was the official venue for the Olympic sailing events in 2012.

Castle View was clean, modern, well stocked and reasonably priced for a truly 5 star experience. We both wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed in castle view over the Christmas break in 2012 and it was great, the apartment had everything you could possibly ask for as far as facilities, comfort and equipment is concerned. Location is just outside a little village which has all the amenities i.e. pub, Co op etc and is well placed for walking in Portland and 10 minutes (drive) from Weymouth town centre.
