Pickford Cottage is a converted barn which was originally part of Lynch Farm. Converted in the 1990's it is the end of a little terrace of pretty cottages. Set in the rural Dorset village of West Milton it is the ideal location for walkers and lovers of the countryside. The cottage has a pretty garden where you may relax on a summers evening or warm autumn afternoon enjoying the peace and quiet of the country. There are a choice of pubs within a short drive, such as the Marquis of Lorne, a 16th Century Inn serving real ale and good food. The market town of Bridport lies a few miles away and as well as standard high street shops you will find a quirky mix of curiosity shops, an antique market on each Saturday and a farmers market some weekends. Local beaches such as West Bay and Burton Bradstock are easily accessible as are the family orientated larger resorts of Weymouth and Lyme Regis. Pickford Cottage is well located for visiting the many places of historical interest in South West Dorset as well as the glorious rolling hills and breath-taking coastline this area is renowned for.
Accommodation: Lounge / diner (dining table with bench seating) with open fire. Kitchen. Downstairs toilet and hand basin. Stairs to 1st floor. Bedroom 1, 5ft kingsize double bed. Bedroom 2, twin single beds. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin, toilet. Fully enclosed front garden with patio furniture. Please note the sofa cushions are feather cushions in lounge.

Perfect Dorset cottage, well presented and maintained in a sleepy village. Easy access to the coast and in the middle of stunning countryside. Plenty of local pubs and meals for evenings out. Cottage is well equipped for self catering. Stayed August 2017.
