Benoy Cottage is a quaint farm cottage set at the heart of a working dairy farm, surrounded by the beautiful west Dorset countryside. From here a herd of 450 pedigree Holstein cows are milked.
The cottage was completely renovated in 2009 and offers a spacious open plan living, kitchen and dining area. Externally, two sets of French doors offer direct access to the furnished decked balcony and then onto the communal lawn.
Pilsdon Dairy Farm is a fouth generation family farm that has been farming in this area for over 100 years. The family is very proud of their pedigree herd, and arrangements can be made in advance for an informal tour of the dairy unit.
Pilsdon Dairy Farm is just a few miles away from the dramatic Jurassic Coast, England’s first World Heritage site. The popular market town of Bridport is a short drive away where there are a selection of cafes, restaurants, an arts centre and a large supermarket. The picturesque harbour town of Lyme Regis is also a short drive away where you can find an array of shops, eateries and beaches.
Benoy Cottage will provide a luxury hamper for each booking. Guests staying for 7 nights will receive: a loaf of bread, box of eggs, milk, homemade scones, jam and cream, butter, local bacon and tea & coffee. Guests staying 3 or more nights will receive: a loaf of bread, homemade scones, jam and cream, milk, tea & coffee.
To accommodate groups of up to 10 guests, Heather Cottage and Meadow View can also be booked.

...miles in to the remote countryside on a working farm. Lovely views out over the surrounding fields. Modern underfloor heating kept us snug and warm. Would recommend and look forward to staying there again. Submitted by Martin on 30/12/2016

...and with lovely views, in a quiet location. The farmer's wife was very welcoming, and the grocery hamper was very generous and welcome. However, it is a long drive on very narrow lanes to reach the road, and then you are at least 4 - 5 miles from eating establishments or places of interest. Being on a dairy farm there are the usual farming environment issues - noises, smells and bumpy lanes. An ideal place if you just want to get away from it all. Submitted by Alan on 08/12/2016
