The property has received commendation for its modernised bedrooms and well-thought-out layout, making it a delightful stay for many.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally maintains good cleanliness, with several guests finding it clean and fresh. However, some concerns were raised about carpets and kitchenware, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

The location is highly praised for its outstanding natural beauty and proximity to gorgeous walks, making it an excellent spot for a peaceful retreat and outdoor activities.

The cottage offers a comfortable stay, with a secure garden and a cosy setting. Some guests, however, found the bathroom facilities cramped and the downstairs bedroom damp, affecting the overall comfort level.

Facilities are generally better than described, with a well-equipped kitchen and good Wi-Fi. However, some guests noted issues with maintenance, such as the feature fireplace not working and outdated appliances.

While the reviews reflect a well-equipped property and mention the provision of various amenities, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

I com here every year sometimes twice. It is perfect if you have dogs, the beautiful long garden and excellent walks around the area. I bring my 92 year old mother and the facilities on the ground floor are perfect. Downstairs bedroom and shower/toilet. The master bedroom upstairs s is a dream with the bathroom off. Whether you fancy a relaxing bath or a shower. The lounge is light and airy. I do believe a darker carpet would be nice but that's the interior decorator in me. Trust me you won't be disappointed it you book this cottage.

This was the only thing we wanted was a fireplace this break so imagine our disappointment when it was not in use! This should be clear on the details also you should put a warning about the height my husband really hurt his head on entrance to the cottage! The rest of the stay was perfect lovely area clean cottage .

The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and I really appreciated the efficient central heating, especially as the weather was chilly. The Wi-Fi worked really well, which was great. Thank you.
